Shashank Sharma is an experienced professional with over a decade of practice in handling litigation and advisory matters. 

 

Having worked with the former Additional Solicitor General at the Supreme Court and one of the top tax law firms of the country, Shashank brings to the table a unique blend of quality legal knowledge with diverse industry experience ensuring solutions are sound from legal perspective.

 

With an expertise in taxation, PMLA, foreign exchange and allied laws, he regularly represents clients before the Supreme Court, the High Court(s) and Tribunals in matters connected therewith. He also advises clients (including law firms) on these subjects. Shashank also assists clients in structuring business transactions and business models and drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.

 

He is currently the senior standing counsel for the Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India at the High Court of Delhi.

 

Shashank has also been a part of the committee which recommended measures to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, to reduce tax litigation thereby facilitating ease of doing business in India.
